For conventional medicine services such as typical family medicine visits, prevention and treatment related to medical conditions, we accept most insurance plans and self-pay. If we do not accept your health plan or if you are uninsured we have pricing for self-pay medical services.
Insurance plans will cover nutrition counseling and weight loss in the context of treating associated medical conditions such as metabolic and chronic disease, co-morbidities and illness. If you have questions about what your insurance will cover, please call the number on the back of your insurance card and clarify with your plan.
Health insurance benefits are often difficult to understand specifically as it relates to out of pocket costs and patient responsibility. It is however important to know your benefits prior to any office visits to avoid any unforeseen medical expenses.
